**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Quality Assurance Officer** to be part of our Quality and Compliance Services, Forensic Evidence and Technical Services Command (FETSC) team. The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the quality and compliance of systems and processes, to ensure administration is accurate, transparent and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

The FETSC provides forensic and technical support to all areas of the NSW Police Force. FETSC capitalises on technology, research and innovation to remain responsive to new and emerging crime types. FETSC facilities across NSW are accredited by NATA against ISO/IEC 17025 which provides international recognition of technical competence. The Quality Assurance Officer will be required to travel to regional locations to support the implementation of FETSC internal and external audit schedule. The position is located at Police Headquarters, Parramatta which is conveniently located near public transport, shopping centres and restaurants.

Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.
