**About the role**

This role is an important member of the Product and Customer Marketing function in the Marketing team and will be pivotal in the delivery of our strategy to achieve growth, deepened relationships and a best in market customer experience that drives value for our customers and for Tyro.

Specifically, the role is accountable for supporting the strategic development, implementation and optimisation of customer lifecycle marketing. You’ll be empowered to create plans that encompass the full customer lifecycle including early engagement, upsell, cross sell and retention for our growing range of products including EFTPOS, eCommerce, Deposits, Lending and Tyro Connect.

Essential to the success of this role is the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with key internal & external stakeholders including the wider Growth and marketing teams, Solution Design & Delivery, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Finance.

**What you'll do**:

- Execute on the annual product marketing and CRM strategy and plans to reach Tyro targets leading and developing the function and its members
- Utilise research and insights to establish segments, market analysis, competitor positioning and comparison to discover and solve customer problems, create product market fit, influence product design and roadmaps to help achieve rapid growth
- Work in strong partnership with your leaders and Solutions Design & Delivery to execute any campaign updates or new opportunities under a GTM strategy for new products or notable features
- Lead the development and execution of the lifecycle marketing strategy to drive customer metrics using branded or cobranded programs
- Utilise lifecycle marketing to drive early engagement, retention and loyalty to meet transaction, cross-sell, feature adoption, retention and NPS metrics
- Hold peers, stakeholders, and self accountable to identify and action the right metrics that influence end-to-end customer behaviour across the product portfolio
- Support Tyro with ad hoc campaigns that drive customer, product, brand and growth metrics
- **Risk Management**:

- Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Comply with Tyro policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes.
- Role model positive risk behaviours and contribute towards a strong risk culture at Tyro.

**What you'll bring**:

- Bachelor’s Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline
- B2B customer comms and platform experience
- Strong understanding of business or retail banking products (Deposits / Payments / Loans)
- Strong competency in all Microsoft tools - particularly Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal & written skills - attention to detail
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, desirably within the financial services sector
- Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and the ability to influence across all levels
- Experience in managing multiple priorities within short timeframes to achieve desired outcomes
- Proven ability to work within and cross functional teams
- Sound commercial and business acumen with demonstrated experience working with marketing and customer data and reporting
- Optimistic and inquisitive nature

- ADMA or other relevant industry marketing accreditation
- Understanding of B2B, SME or fintech market in Australia
- Working in a customer champion or experience role
