We are currently looking someone who would like to be mentored and has a passion for **Planning across Rail Infrastructure projects.** We are looking for someone who wants to be mentored by one of our top Directors and become an industry leader in the Planning/Project Controls space.

**Job Description**:

We work on projects of all sizes from one-off developments to mega-programmes, from planning the future development across Infrastructure/Natural Resource projects to site based construction of individual projects, while helping the largest companies in the world. We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use.

In an **Planning **role, you will have knowledge in:

- Work in an integrated planning and cost environment within the project to optimise the use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints.
- Ensure that the established planning and scheduling methodology is followed in developing project schedule.
- Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
- Assess subcontractor compliance with established scheduling methodology.
- Support schedule performance updates, analysis and reports.
- Ensure compatibility of contractors schedules with the integrated schedules/milestones.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Must be in Australia with full Australian working rights.**:

- Must be wanting to be mentored by the team and looking to learn the craft.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in planning or Project Engineering with some planning experience.
- A recognised Degree Qualification in a relevant field.
- Relevant industry experience ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Experience in planning & scheduling of capital projects.
- Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques, basic understanding of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
- Collaborative and ability to work as part of a national team.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast paced environment.
