The TAS Assistant helps prepare practical lessons and works within the Industrial classroom areas, ensuring they are safety compliant, clean and functional. The Assistant follows direction from TAS Teachers and the Coordinator. Stocking and managing inventory is also a part of the daily tasks. Experience in Timber Workshops is desirable.

**About You**

As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.

To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- an understanding of the needs of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support
- ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
- excellent communication skills
- ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful
- a willingness to support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students.

You will have attained:

- a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.
