About Our School
Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS), is a coeducational Kindergarten-Year 12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat.

The Leader of Learning - TAS will have;
- a commitment to Catholic education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.
- exemplary classroom practice, including the application of a range of evidence-based pedagogical practices that support effective learning and, critically, student growth.
- highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students.
- an ability to work collaboratively, undertaking responsibilities leading and working with the Assistant Leader of Learning, Year Coordinators, the Assistant Principal (La Valla) and as required by other College Leadership Group members.
- an openness with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of alignment with College strategic directions and the Annual Improvement Plan.
- facilitation of the ongoing development of differentiated pedagogy and assessment which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data.
- a commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning in subject areas by modelling differentiated pedagogy and reflective classroom practices as well as facilitating staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge.
- a highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students.
Position Highlights
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 27 January 2026. The Leader of Learning - TAS position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.

About You
As a Leader of Learning: TAS (Coordinator 2), you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Technology Mandatory. The ability to teach specialisations is advantageous
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
