Nexia Perth is searching for a Senior Bookkeeper with a winning attitude and great enthusiasm who is ready to take their career to the next level.

**The Opportunity**

You will be engaged in assignments for a range of industries and company sizes ranging from ASX listed companies to not-for-profit organisations.

The tasks for this role include:

- Invoice and receipt processing;
- Management of creditor pay runs and loading payments for EFT;
- Preparation and finalisation of invoices;
- Payroll management, including superannuation and salary sacrificing arrangements;
- Bank and other account reconciliations;
- Assisting with the initial preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Assisting the team with the completion of tasks or work assignments as necessary to ensure client requirements are met;
- Identifying potential issues or opportunities in day-to-day work and raising these with Managers or Directors;
- Liaising directly with clients to respond to queries or provide information, as requested.

**About you**

Qualifications & experience:

- Proficient in MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office;
- Able to use the job reporting/tracking function in general ledgers;
- Have a basic understanding and ability to prepare monthly management accounts using Accounting Software (MYOB and Xero);
- Typically 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Be able to work in a team environment and supporting team members;
- Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work to tight deadlines;
- Resilience and adaptability to maintain effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks and/or pressure;
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or higher.
