A new opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Partner to lead the NDIS Finance and Payroll teams to ensure financial processes and records are delivered to a high standard in line with the overall business financial strategy.
**About the role**:
Produce monthly financial reports, maintain an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
Attend to the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Work with the leadership team to develop financial strategies and implement relevant metrics for those strategies.
Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for each key business area.
Overseeing payroll processing.
Assist with creating a high-performing, team oriented and supportive workplace culture that enables the achievement of the business’s visions.
Lead and oversee the follow up and negotiation of SIL plan renewals and other matters with the NDIS
Ensure compliance of all financial statutory and government policy requirements for the organisation and conduct all activities with a high level of ethical standard.
**About You**:
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently, including significant experience in management of work teams and working in an administrative environment.
Significant experience in reporting and control and demonstrated ability to provide timely, reliable reports.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and maintain administrative and organisational systems.
A comprehensive understanding of financial governance procedures and legislation.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, including ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple and competing requests, work efficiently and work to deadlines.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Consistent demonstration of strong ethics, ambition, and flexibility with a high degree of initiative and reliability.
**Job Requirements**:
Bachelor of Business or Accounting
Experience in a similar role within the Disability or Community Services sector is highly desirable.
Currently hold or willingness to obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card).
Covid-19 vaccinated.
