**The Role**
We’re looking for a capable and motivated general maintenance hand to join the ALS team at our analytical laboratory facility in Scoresby. This is a full-time role with responsibility for ensuring maintenance of a wide variety of site laboratory equipment, mechanical plant and office facilities.

**The Day to Day**
- General repairs and maintenance of property, plant and equipment throughout the Scoresby facility
- Prioritising and delivering on a busy and diverse workload
- Responding promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns, working efficiently to fix them
- Direct, timely communication with Managers, Team Leaders on issue resolution
- Organising, coordinating and supervising Contractors on multidisciplinary works

**The Essentials**
- Experience in small-scale mechanical maintenance working in a production environment. Trade qualifications (Carpentry, Plumbing or Electrical) will be well-regarded.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset, with the capacity to work both independently and co-operatively as needed
- Computer literacy including MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to work flexible hours at times
- Complete commitment to workplace safety and promotion of ALS safety culture
- Current unrestricted Victorian Drivers Licence
