About the role

Our VIC Service team is looking for a Service Supervisor to join our Scoresby office with provided mentorship & training. This role is critical in ensuring successful day-to-day operations and supervision of the service department, working closely with the VIC Service Manager to lead our experienced group of technicians.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Drive high performance in a diverse group of Technicians and Apprentices through effective coaching, mentoring and development.
- Work with Service Coordinators to ensure jobs are effectively coordinated to maximise Technician’s hours.
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships eg, Daikin customers, Dealer group and Account Managers.
- Provide support to Technicians with issues that arise on site.
- Effectively manage customer escalations by investigating complaints and providing timely, professional response and appropriate solution.
- Manage correct completion of service paperwork and invoicing by Technicians, including accurate quoting.
- Review and analyse service reports to identify improvement areas in service function, revenue and process.

About you

This role will be well suited to an individual who has air conditioning and refrigeration experience, working in maintenance, fault finding and repair. Strong customer focus and the ability to lead is highly regarded for this role.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and manage conflict.
- Strong technical background in air conditioning with experience in maintenance and repair - Installation experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, planning and analytical thinking.
- Good work ethic, resilience and results driven with demonstrated experience in leading a successful team.
- Ability to manage competing demands and deadlines.

You must be able to provide evidence of:

- Related Trade Certificate/Qualification
- Valid Arctick Licence
- Valid VIC Driver’s Licence
- Class 1 Electrical License
- Valid White Card
- Australian Working Rights (valid Visa, Australian birth certificate or passport)
