**Your opportunity**
Join Queensland Rail's dynamic Property team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our rail corridor. As a Senior Property Advisor, you'll be the gatekeeper for third-party access, ensuring that projects like utility installations are carried out seamlessly and safely. Your expertise will be crucial in negotiating agreements, managing risks, and maintaining a harmonious balance between development and rail operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the entire process of authorizing and managing third-party access to the rail corridor.
- Negotiating terms and conditions with third parties, ensuring agreements protect Queensland Rail's interests.
- Conducting thorough due diligence, identify potential risks, and implement robust mitigation strategies.
- Fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external parties, ensuring clear communication and efficient project coordination.
- Staying abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and safety standards, ensuring all activities adhere to the highest standards.
This role will be ideal for people who:
- Possess extensive knowledge and experience with Wayleaves and third-party access licensing within the rail industry (essential for successful performance in the role).
- Have high-level proficiency in SAP.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in agreements and documentation.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and builds strong relationships.

**Remuneration & Employment Type**
- Starting base salary is **$113,768 (pro-rata) **plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
