We are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our growing team, in Taren Point NSW.

**The Position**

This is an dynamic full time position which will require you to liaise with internal staff, suppliers, freight vendors and customers.
- Raise purchase orders in accordance with production and warehouse requirements.
- Plan and coordinate orders in conjunction with company production schedule and workshop/sales/service teams.
- Attend regular production meetings and ensure priority items are coordinated accordingly.
- Organise freight bookings and customer deliveries.
- Facilitate importing of stock from our parent company with international logistics vendor.
- Liaise with management to forecast stock requirements.
- Communicate with relevant internal and external parties on production and purchasing related matters.
- Receipt, manage and invoice stock using company database.
- General filing and office duties.

**Key Skills and Competencies Required**
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working with CRM software and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with stocktake.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

This is a key position which in-line with performance may lead to career opportunities in an operations management role.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $69,999.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Taren Point, NSW 2229: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Production coordinator: 2 years (preferred)
