**Professional Skills**
Experience as a Senior Receptionist / Practice Manager / Business manager in General Practice or similar medical fields with a proven experience in the medical industry will be considered.
proven organisational and customer service skills
Experience in team leading roles and managing administrative and/or medical staff
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Computer literacy, including proficiency using Best Practice or similar Medical software plus MS windows, Word, Excel etc
Proficient in MBS, Medicare incentives (PIP, PNIP), DVA, Work Comp, Private billings etc
Knowledge of Best Practice would be desirable.
- **4 years plus minimum experience in the position of a General Practice, Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist / Business Manager**:
- Positive personality with a “can do” attitude and ability to multitask.
- Leadership skills and be a team player.
- Approachable personality.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Previous experience with Best Practice is desirable but not essential.
**About the Position**
This position is a full or part time role, hours and days are negotiable, “hands on” position that will oversee the daily functions of the Medical practice. You will be reporting directly to the Company Director.
The priorities of the position are:
- Manage all members of staff, both clinical and non-clinical.
- Do reception work as required.
- Oversee and manage all practice systems including policies and procedures and all associated documentation and Government submissions.
- Ensuring the continued and seamless flow of excellent customer service to our valued client base.
- Previous supervisory experience working or as a Practice manager in a medical or medical related practice is essential.
- Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Practice Management or HR/Business Management studies will be highly regarded
