**The Role**

One of Sydney's biggest Construction/Property Groups based at Sydney Olympic Park

are currently seeking an experienced AP Officer. This role will be for a min of 6 months with parking provided.

**Day to Day**
- Processing of all job-related accounts payable tax invoices/adjustment notes etc.
- Managing invoice holds and releases for payment.
- Investigating queries regarding non-payment of accounts.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and the groups external supply chain to ensure on time payment of invoices.
- Monitoring critical supplier invoices ensuring on time approval and compliance with SOPA legislation.
- Managing retention on jobs to ensure that this is transferred to the retention job and an audit trail is maintained.
- Reviewing the AP ledger periodically to ensure aged items are flagged with the business and action is taken to resolve them.
- Assisting other accounts staff with ad-hoc tasks to support the finance team and helping ensure deadlines are met.
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and invoices inbox to ensure they are maintained below 40 items.
- Managing invoice queue (ISL queue) to ensure timely approval of invoices and appropriate setup for approval workflows keeping it below 40 items.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries from project teams and suppliers.
- Assisting the FC in preparing audit information and any statutory or regulatory reporting obligation.
- Management of the supplier masterfile ensuring that updates are processed timely, new vendors are created in a timely manner, payment terms are up to date, inactive suppliers are designated as such, and supplier information is current.
- Load payments into the bank portal and send relevant communication to approvers.

**You'll Need**
- Min of 5 years AP experience
- CHEOPS exposure
- Strong communication both verbal & written
- As easy going persona
- Strong attention to detail

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
