Role: Accounts Payable Officer
Location: CBD, Sydney
Type of Employment: 6-month day rate contract
**Salary**: $75,000-$80,000 + superannuation (Day rate Equivalent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing vendor invoices and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
- Improving efficiency in the accounts payable process
- Supporting the back-end process of invoicing to 280 stores
- Conducting weekly payment runs
- Reconciling vendor statements and ensuring all accounts are up to date
- Liaising with vendors and building strong relationships
- Utilizing SAP S4 HANA software to assist with payable responsibilities
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to check documentation accurately
- Ability to understand weekly payment runs and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Commercial acumen to build and maintain relationships with vendors
- Strong reconciliation skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
