Immediate start for a temp to perm Talent Acquisition Officer
**Your new role**
The Talent Acquisition Officer will work with internal stakeholders at all levels across the organisation. The position will also work with external stakeholders including job applicants, recruitment agencies, recruitment platform providers, suppliers and other local governments.

Your duties will include:

- Reviewing documentation initiating recruitment, ensuring the vacancy aligns with the organisational and establishment charts.
- Consulting with hiring managers to ensure position descriptions are accurate, current, relevant
- Composing advertisements and placing within appropriate media within agreed timeframes.
- Developing behavioural based interview questions in liaison with the hiring manager.
- Participating as a panel member in interviews, as required.
- Initiating and overseeing the pre-employment assessments.
- Ensuring recruiting managers are kept informed of progress on their recruitment campaigns.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In return, you will need to have comprehensive knowledge of contemporary issues and practices in general Human Resources Management, particularly recruitment and selection. Knowledge and understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity principles and legislation. Sound knowledge of appropriate awards, agreements, legislation, regulations and policies. You'll need a well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt the communication style to suit different audiences. You will also need excellent time management and organisational skills, with strong attention detail and a high level of accuracy.
