**Your new role**
In this role you’ll work closely with user experience, design and accessibility teams to analyse user stories, identify content impacts and influence interface flows. You’ll draft, test and refine user-centred content for government online services. You’ll also work with ICT colleagues to see your content come to life in our digital platforms. The work is fast paced, iterative and user-focused.

**Key duties**:

- **Understand user issues and needs.**:

- **Explain content recommendations.**:

- **Assist to ideate, test, measure and iterate user-centred content and improve content performance to achieve user and business outcomes.**:

- **Work as an integrator for stakeholders across the Communications Division to support implementation of brand, content and communication strategies for myGov.**:

- **Build relationships with content designers across government.**

- **Work collaboratively in an agile environment.**:

- **Make swift evidence-based decisions using common sense judgement and ethical decision making.**
- **Support administration, gatekeeping and making publishing requests.
**Key skills/knowledge to undertake the role**:

- **Strong content writing, iterating, editing and proofreading skills.**:

- **Ability to think strategically.**

- **An understanding of service design, accessibility, discoverability, usability and inclusivity principles.**:

- **Ability to analyse and use evidence, data and research, including journey and channel mapping to write user-centred content.**:

- **An understanding of data collection and user research options.**
- **Excellent task planning and prioritisation, including a track record of working effectively and cooperatively with multiple stakeholders.**

- **Experience in or ability to work in an agile environment, including use of agile tools and processes.**

- **Ability to make evidence-based decisions using common sense judgement and ethical decision making.**
