As a Content Designer at Service NSW, you'll:

- use your proven writing skills and user experience design principles to craft effective content
- take complex language and processes and make them easy to understand
- own the content and its quality throughout a user’s journey, and be comfortable using evidence, data and research to inform your decisions
- ask the right questions at the right time, crafting solutions and delivering validated digital products to our users
- collaborate with Product Designers on information architecture and the overall narrative and messaging for different parts of the user journey
- continuously work to evolve content and style standards
- promote user-focused content design across Service NSW and other government agencies.

**On your first day,**
**you'll**:

**Service NSW for Business**

The Service NSW for Business Product team is divided into multidisciplinary squads that focus on a range of Service for Business products. These include business grants, licences, vouchers and support programs. Together, these products help business owners to interact with the government and access support. We aim to deliver delightful product experiences that allow NSW businesses to start, run, grow and adapt in times of change.

We use modern technologies and platforms and are leading the way with Lean Startup, Agile Extreme Programming (XP), and User-Centred Design to ensure our customer is at the core of everything we do.

You’ll work across highly collaborative, cross-functional squads with Product Managers, Product Designers, Content Designers, and Engineers.

Each small, focused, squad consistently achieves amazing results by listening to customer needs and iteratively and continuously shipping products.

You’ll help us continue to design customer-centric content for our digital products. Specifically, you’ll confidently decide what, how and when to communicate to our customers at every stage of their journey.

First and foremost, you’re an exceptional writer with sharp attention to detail and accuracy. But as a Content Designer, you’ll take information design to the next level.
