The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a passionate process specialist with a sound understanding of P&C operations to join a newly formed P&C Technology team, supporting with the stabalisation of Workday across Cochlear globally.

In this key role, you will be part of a high performing cross functional tech team whose goal is to deliver “Global, Simple & Consistent” solutions. Reporting to the Director, P&C Tech, Data and Analytics, you will be analysing trends and gaps to solve pain points, help define and ensure business requirements are clear and understood, and support the delivery of enhancements which will impact the way everyone across Cochlear utilises Workday.

Your responsibilities include:

- Analysing current services and processes, and user feedback to identify opportunities to optimise functionality
- Supporting requirements definition, design, solution review, testing and user adoption
- Defining and understanding business problems and recommending solution design options
- Investigating complex business and system issues, researching and identifying innovative solutions to fix the root cause
- Supporting the responsive and fit for purpose delivery of P&C system enhancements, modifications, and implementations
- Performing functional testing, support system integration testing & non-functional testing
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of training material, user manuals, guides, solution design documents and other technical reports/ documents
- Engaging and consulting with system implementation vendors, P&C and other business stakeholders
- Proactively influencing stakeholders and removing roadblocks to achieving Global - Simple - Consistent process alignment

About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Minimum 3+ years experience with P&C process design and execution
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday
- Experience analysing data and trends, and translating into business requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or IT
- Knowledge and experience with Agile practice and project delivery
- Knowledge of principles with respect to testing practices such as User Acceptance Testing, including writing effective test cases
- Ability to prioritise work with competing and dynamic priorities
- Experience tracking progress through agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong customer focus and ability to follow up with customers
- Analytical and creative problem-solving ability
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
