Antipodes Partners is a diversified multi-asset manager with A$18bn under management, with product offerings spanning across Global and Australian equities, Global listed infrastructure and Credit.

We are seeking an Investment Process Analyst for a 12 month contract with a passion for financial markets and investing to join the Antipodes group. 2 to 8 years of relevant industry work experience is desirable. The role will be Sydney based.

Strong academics in degrees relating to Finance, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial are necessary.

Subject to performance, there may be an opportunity to convert to full-time employment post completion of the initial 12-month contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Investment Process Integration and Enhancement: Manage both the fundamental equity research investment process upstream and downstream data flow. This will include upgrading existing processes and enhancing the Excel based toolkit to cater for the changing business needs.
- Change Management and Internal Training: Be a champion for change management and process improvement. Where tools/processes are enhanced, this will involve arranging and providing individual/firm wide training as required.
- Technology and Tool Development: Build and maintain investment related tools. These may be Excel based, or code based. Your tools will focus on achieving investment process related objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment analysts, traders, and technology teams to achieve investment process related objectives. Clearly document all process change.
- Data Management and Analysis: Handle and interpret complex datasets sourced using SQL, REST APIs, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Snowflake. Analyse these large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement/alpha generation.

Skills required:

- Advanced Excel knowledge which covers VBA and Power Query
- Intermediate accounting and financial modelling knowledge
- Intermediate market data knowledge (Factset experience preferable)
- Advanced SQL (required), R (required) and Python (optional)
- Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Airflow
- Knowledge of AI productivity systems and tools
- Project management expertise
- Strong and confident communicator

- You are a natural numbers detective. You thrive working with large datasets, seeking insights/relationships in an otherwise meaningless mass of data.
- Leveraging your mature domain knowledge of the investment processes, you enjoy building systems, and you are not afraid to continually experiment with new ideas and techniques for improving workflow.
