About You
Are you are motivated to begin a new and exciting chapter. To provide assistance & support with rostering, incident hotline and supervision to our staff who work toward improving the lives of our participants living with mental health and complex needs?
**Additional attributes we are looking for include**:
- Effective interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Demonstrated collaborative decision making ability
- An understanding and knowledge of mental health & complex behaviours
- Ability to navigate various IT platforms and proven IT skills
- Knowledge of Procura an advantage but not essential
- Prior experience in providing supervision / coaching to others desired
- Flexible and adaptable to work a roster that may require re-call
- An understanding and knowledge of the SCHADS award
You will be available to work on a 2 week rotating roster. Potential shifts as follows;
Morning shifts 7:00am - 3:30pm / 9:00am - 5:00pm / 10:30am - 7:00pm
Afternoon/Evening shifts 2:00pm - 11:30pm / 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Recall as required through until 7:00am / 9:00am
It is a requirement of this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet all compliance requirements in relation to NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children’s Check and work rights.
About the Role
As the Practice Support Coordinator you will report to a Senior Manager and be responsible for the day to day rostering of staff whom support our complex mental health participants. You will be driven to achieve outcomes and ensure staff are supported via regular supervision and our incident hotline utilising a person centred and safety approach. To achieve this you will:
- Provide Support to Team Leaders and Practice Leaders as required
- Provide crisis support and intervention, responding to calls on our incident hotline including recording, tracking and reporting to relevant bodies
- Assisting with rostering and shift changes within Procura as they arise to ensure client support is provided as necessary
- Provide leadership & coaching in the form of formal supervision to a caseload of casual staff members
- Increase self-management, relationship and coping skills for staff
- Ensure compliance with all internal & external requirements, including reporting
