Your Role
Reporting directly to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, this role will see you developing regional plans to grow key accounts, identifying new opportunities within the corn, canola, forage, sorghum and microbial portfolios, and creating demand for both long and short-term strategies to support our client's growth journey.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Analyze regional market trends, gather market intelligence and provide advice on sales and marketing activities, product performance and competitor activities
Collaborate with the research team in recommending new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase sales potential and customer satisfaction
Spearheading escalated customer complaints, and agronomic issues with a well-established agronomic and technical knowledge of products and services
Develop and execute regional sales plans and expense budgets and roll these down to territory targets and budgets
Recruit, develop and coach a high-quality sales team to meet sales targets and customer expectations
Contribute to the short-term and long-term business plans to facilitate the company's growth journey through sales objectives
About You
Ideally, you will have an extensive experience in agricultural sales, business development and agronomy with a proven capability to drive sales objectives through continual improvement and innovation.
Result-driven and customer-oriented, you will also have
Sound understanding of agronomy
Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture Science, Agribusiness or Agronomy (highly regarded)
Proven capability in leading a high-performing sales team
Intensive and extensive sales experience within the agriculture industry
Strong computer literacy - MS Office, CRM
Ability to travel inter-/intra-state
