Multicap is thrilled to announce an exhilarating opportunity for aspiring Disability Support Workers - an internship program that paves the way to achieve their Certificate in Individual Support. **About Your New Role**:
As a vital member of our Critical Supports Services Team, you'll be assisting our customers with complex needs in multiple regions. Your responsibilities will include creating an environment that champions quality outcomes, fosters collaboration among various stakeholders, and promotes continuous skill development within the Critical Supports Disability Sector. At Multicap, our Disability Support Workers are experts in providing effective encouragement and innovative strategies to help individuals realise their full potential and the endless possibilities available to them.

Our Critical Supports Team is the heartbeat of Multicap's Sole Purpose - enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive services tailored to all ages, abilities, and needs. By joining our team, you'll become part of a group of experts who are passionate about offering specialised training opportunities, ensuring that you have the tools needed to enhance the support we provide.

**We're looking for someone exceptional who**:

- Excels in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Has extensive experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, and handling mental health challenges.
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease.
- Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights.

**To be considered for this exciting role, you should have**:

- A current Open Driver's License.
- Full COVID-19 Vaccinations.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Yellow card).
- Working with Children (Blue card).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Experience in the disability sector providing services to individuals with high-complex needs.

**Salary**: $25.62 - $40.71 per hour
