Group Manager Talent Acquisition and Strategic

Reporting into the General Manager Talent Acquisition, we're looking for an experienced Group Manager Talent Acquisition & Strategic Sourcing to join our Sydney based Talent Acquisition team At The Star, you will have the opportunity to create impact by developing and delivering the Group Talent Acquisition Sourcing and Talent Communities initiatives in line with the Company strategy and business priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for delivery of the Strategic Sourcing framework, fast track services for business critical or priority roles within the corporate and operational streams.
- Develop strong talent communities and pipelines through targeted search initiatives building, nurturing, and growing talent pools of suitably qualified talent.
- Gathering and maintaining market research on industries, skill sets and competitors to strategically advise the Talent Acquisition team and the leadership on the talent market landscape both locally, regionally, and internationally.
- Build a team of high performing engaging Sourcing Specialists contributing towards The Star Entertainment Group cultural transformation

**About you**

You are a seasoned Talent Acquisition Leader with extensive experience in designing group wide talent mapping, outreach strategies within a high-volume capacity. Your initiatives remit sits across a multiplex or at a regional level incorporating digital and process optimisation, global talent market insights and building programs to uplift the internal Talent Acquisition Partners sourcing capabilities. In parallel to designing the Talent Sourcing and Talent Community Framework, this role will lead a team of Talent Sourcing Specialists to create an ‘in-house’ sourcing model to assist support the business seek great talent. Your focus will be to collaborate and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Leaders, as the Talent Acquisition Partners shall be accountable to own the relationships with the business units.

**What are we looking for?**
- Lived experience in effectively designing group wide sourcing initiatives with tangible results
- Extensive demonstrated experience in HR/recruitment industry
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology, and/or business-related disciplines
- Previous management experience in a service delivery environment
- Hiring in a fast-paced service industry and volume environment as well as managing stakeholders up to executive level
- Specialist sourcing capability and experience in high volume and regulated environments
- Solid understanding of all Human Resources functions
- Experience in participating in and contributing to HR projects
