Buying Coordinator

DESIGN/BUYING COORDINATOR | BRAS N THINGS | Pyrmont
This is a diverse and fast paced role that would be perfect for a self-motivated individual who is looking to progress their career in Buying/Design.
The main responsibility of this role is to provide support and assistance to the buyer and the wider buying team in the development of product to launch in store - accountable for the buy plan and sample management to assist in delivery of this.

**Responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to**:

- Setting up and maintaining of the buy plan for their area
- Management of all samples into the business, including range samples, fit samples, shoot samples etc
- Setting up of purchase orders within required timeframe post Range
- The communication of purchase orders to the suppliers
- Approving Lab Dips and Strike Offs within 24hrs of receipt to avoid delays when required
- Creating reports for Buyers where required
- Providing CAD/Tech Pack creation support to Buyer or assistant buyer when required
- Organising meetings and agendas for the buyers or team as required

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A degree in Fashion and Design or a related field
- Prior 1 year experience in a Buying Coordination role, Design or Retail
- Background in Design (need to have experience with Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Strong CAD skills
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Strong written and verbal skills
