**ROLE** **PURPOSE**
The Paid Search Manager’s purpose is to support the Paid Search Director in shaping and defining industry-leading paid search strategies for our clients across Zenith, with the focus to deliver outstanding value whilst working with an integrated service model tailored to their individual needs.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
Ensure the Search Executive and Search Co-ordinator are working effectively, are coached, trained, inspired and organized to deliver on deadlines
- Ensure quality controls are in place from planning/buying/optimization and reporting for you and your team
- Build new and existing search campaign accounts ensuring a high level of detail is observed and we are aligned to the client brief
- Make sure you and the team are billing/pacing and reporting on spends with 100 % accuracy. Familiarize yourself with client contracts and ancillary fee structures so that correct costs are applied on plans. Ensure digital compliance
- Lead and implement the adoption of bid management technology across all client campaigns
- Work hand in hand with Digital Account Manager to develop digital media plans, which are well thought out/argued, looks to innovate and answers the marketing challenge
- Compile planning slides with the support of performance exec and coordinator and present confidently to clients
- Day to day client team & client contact for the paid search domain
- Work collaboratively with agency partners and tech vendors to deliver bestin-class results
**TECHNICAL SKILLS**
- Intermediate excel and Microsoft office skills are a must
- Intermediate to advanced certification of Google Ads (Paid Search) and Amazon Sponsored Ads. Will undertake Amazon DSP certification within 3 months in the role.
- Contributes to competitive work during new business pitches.
**EXPERIENCE**:
4-5 years’ minimum experience in SEM/performance media.
- Must have an excellent grasp of paid search planning & activation
- Must have experience and working knowledge of Google paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360), the Microsoft Advertising platform, as well as key industry SEM tools and key analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics/GA360
- Ideally has some SEO knowledge and an understanding of paid and organic search work together
