**Role and Responsibilities**
The Project Controller (PCO) is responsible for executing specific project related activities during the project's execution life cycle. The PCO's main function is to assist the Project Manager (PM) and/or Platform Manager in controlling project progress and performance, project financials and schedule, analysis, reporting, project closure, and various customer related, as well as administrative, duties/activities. The role will be located at our office in Homebush, NSW.
**The** **following skills, and responsibilities** **are required of the PCO**:
- Attention to detail and results orientated Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating as part of a bigger team -Time management and organisational skills
- Resilience and organisational agility
- Sound knowledge of project management fundamentals and tools
- MS Suite proficient with established skills in MS Projects, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint,
- ERP knowledge and experience
- Financial acumen and/or business acumen
**Essential qualifications and experience**:
- Project management certification, asset.
- Minimum of two years’ experience - equivalent combination related to project planning and control.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and results orientated
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum guidance or supervision, whilst collaborating as part of a bigger team
- Time management and organizational skills with ability to work across multiple projects with competing priorities
- Resilience and organizational agility
- Sound knowledge of project management fundamentals and tools
- MS Suite proficient with established skills in MS Projects, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint,
- ERP knowledge and experience
- Financial acumen and/or business acumen
- Relevant experience in a technical environment.
- Good interpersonal skills, diplomatic
- Good communication skills (written and spoken).
- Experience in working with Planisware would be a considerable asset.
- Experience of working with government/defence would be an asset.
- Innovation, creativity, sense of ownership
**Note**:_as the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance._**
