**The Role**

We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a **Recruitment and Retention Coordinator **to join the team in Melbourne to drive our talent attraction activities to recruit high calibre volunteers and internal staff into our business.

**Responsibilities of this Role**
- Ensuring a positive and efficient recruitment experience for all new volunteers and internal staff
- Managing and growing our Virtual Volunteer recruitment team
- Working with stakeholders to develop and implement proactive recruitment projects
- Ensuring the volunteer and staff onboarding and induction process align and determining how this process could be improved over time
- Training and coaching the Volunteer Care Coordinators and maintaining ongoing communication with waitlist prospective volunteers
- Utilising workforce planning principles to track and report recruitment targets and identify areas for improvement by tracking data trends

**About You**
- Demonstrated hiring success in recruiting for a variety of roles is essential
- Experience in hiring new staff and volunteers into a Not For Profit organisation would be advantageous
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to build trusting relationships with stakeholders of multiple levels within the organisation
- Have a high degree of integrity and trustworthiness as well as being able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Possess a solutions-focussed approach and able to demonstrate creative thinking and resourcefulness when problems arise
- Able to show resilience and adaptability in a changing environment and is always willing to go the extra mile
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Well developed negotiation skills with an ability to liaise with a diverse range of people
- High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
