
Collection Manager

We are seeking a Collections Manager who will be responsible for the management of the collection’s leadership and team. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the team are equipped and supported to deliver on the company’s vision, values and KPI’s. The primary goal is to ensure that Altogether and its clients' debt position is always minimized and that customers are offered every available opportunity and protection within our regulatory framework.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the collection of outstanding credit to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy and regulatory guidelines
- Report on debt position in line with target KPI’s and ensure that regulator reports are submitted on time
- Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed
- Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt
- Develop objectives that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to repeatedly meet and go beyond goals
- Manage and lead the Collections team to ensure that all day-to-day customer interactions are delivering KPI’s objectives
- Implement, update, and communicate credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the collections team and altogether collections strategy
- Manage vendor relationships to deliver optimal performance in line with target KPI’s
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree highly regarded, preferably in finance
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in credit and collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering collections portfolio management including customer hardship programs and mercantile channel partners
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
