**The Opportunity**
As the Commercial Partnerships Manager within the Customer Portfolio branch, you will assist the division in achieving its vision and purpose. This role is also responsible for providing direct support to the Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager, acting as a trusted advisor and developing recommendations for contract negotiations.
**How you will create value**
In this broad ranging and crucial role, you will use your exceptional contract and negotiation skills to add value to Medibank by:
- Manage key relationships with hospital contract managers, identifying contractual requirements and the performance of the hospitals.
- Lead contract negotiations and be responsible for project management tasks.
- Provide recommendations to the Senior Commercial and Partnerships Manager for contract negotiations.
- Maintain and manage all correspondence and communication to the provider on behalf of Customer Portfolios.
- Directly support the Senior Commercial and Partnerships Manager by ensuring they are constantly informed of any issues that could impact the on-going hospital relationship and contractual effectiveness.
- Support contract planning by providing analytics and insights, relationship management skills and risk management.
- Work alongside the Senior Commercial and Partnerships Manager and provide support with major negotiations for Hospital Provider Purchasing Agreements
**About You**
You have proven contract negotiation and relationship management skills and have demonstrated expertise within the Private Health Insurance and Hospital sectors. With excellent relationship management skills, you maintain and build trusted relationships with Executive level stakeholders.
Other key requirements include:
- Current or past experience in Private Health Insurance or Hospital sector is required for this role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Health industry.
- Contract management and negotiation experience.
- Project management experience.
