**UX / UI Designer**
- **Initial Contract Duration**:12 Months
- **Extension Term**:12 months (potential for two extensions)
- **Working Arrangements**:On-site (Canberra) preferred, with flexible remote options considered
- **Security Clearance**:Must be able to obtain Baseline

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver information architectures, wireframes, user interfaces, and visual designs.
- Conduct user research and testing using visual tools, analytics, and evidence to enhance user journeys.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, building effective stakeholder relationships in a dynamic environment.
- Articulate a compelling vision and design recommendations, advocating for a user-centered design approach.
- Translate UX strategy and concepts into meaningful and deliverable products within an embedded agile delivery team.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proven track record of designing and delivering information architectures, wireframes, and visual designs with a strong portfolio of successful UX projects.
- Experience in conducting user research and testing, utilising visual tools, analytics, and evidence to map user journeys and drive improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and establish effective stakeholder relationships in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong ability to articulate vision and design recommendations, collaborating with influence to promote a user-centered design approach.
- Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in human-centered design or related fields, and experience in large-scale digital transformations.
