Meet the UX team
Our User Experience Team collaborates with cross-functional teams to design user-centric, innovative solutions that solve complex problems for our customers. They work from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring that our products are visually appealing, easy to use, and aligned with our customers' needs. This is a team of proactive designers who, quite simply, have a passion for beautiful software. They have strong relationships with development teams across LEAP Dev which enable them to ask the right questions and apply their skills to facilitate great user experiences.
What you'll do
As our newest Mid-Level UX/UI Designer you won't just work on a range of incredible projects across web, desktop and mobile, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with other designers and developers to grow your skillset. You will have an impact on the design of our products by using your UX/UI skills to identify and create innovative solutions to real-world user problems. You'll use your experience with the full UX lifecycle from ideation to handoff, and your day-to-day might look like this.
To make this happen, you will:
- Design end-to-end user experience and interfaces that balance user needs and business goals.
- Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to simplify complex workflows and systems.
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and impactful.
- Conduct or support user research, user testing and feedback sessions to refine designs.
- Work within and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency across the product.
- Participate in design critiques and workshops, sharing feedback and collaborating with peers.
- Take ownership of user experience and product features, from discovery through to delivery.
What you'll bring
- 3 – 4 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of digital product work.
- Ability to design clear, effective user flows and interfaces.
- Experience designing for enterprise software or complex digital systems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills: able to untangle complexity and propose scalable solutions.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, accessibility, and usability principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with prototyping.
- Strong communication skills—you can explain design decisions to team members clearly.
- A collaborative mindset: comfortable working with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Curiosity and initiative to grow your product strategy skills while taking ownership of design outcomes.
You are the type of person who
- Is comfortable with uncertainty and changing timelines, knowing when to improvise to meet deadlines and when to push for greater outcomes.
- Has strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, ready to work closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Is a team player – we reach our goals together and help each other to succeed
- Has a passion for keeping up with the latest trends and best practices
LEAP is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.
