**Role & Responsibilities**:
As a **Team Leader**, you will provide team leadership and oversight for the practice staff of Counselling and Family Services (CaFS) that provides counselling, support and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children and families through collaborative practices that are trauma informed and evidence based. You will ensure sustainable high quality services and effective team functioning, along with service delivery and risk management support to the site Manager and CaFS Group Manager.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our **South West Sydney Hub** but will involve traveling across sites.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Effective team leadership and oversight of the team across Counselling and Family Services
- Working closely with Group Managers of Counselling and Family Services and the Clinical Development Unit to ensure the effective delivery and co-ordination of services
- Supporting the site Manager in the effective implementation of Community Services strategies and services within policy and procedures and in line with allocated budgets
- Working with site Manager in the implementation of effective client management systems, reporting requirements and sustainable business development opportunities
- Ensuring effective implementation of identified continuous improvement strategies/approaches

**Qualifications, Skills and Competencies**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling/case management and group facilitation and/or management related fields
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Proven experience in human service industry management and working within service delivery and budget parameters
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience relating to diverse groups, e.g. Government departments & other agencies
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in articulating BaptistCare’s purpose and values in management practice
