We are seeking a fixed term temporary full-time OO5 Transport Coordinator (for 6 months) to join our team Central Pharmacy, Richlands. This role is responsible for manage a despatch team to provide an efficient, reliable and cost-effective third-party logistics (3PL) transport service in the distribution and returns of Pharmaceuticals to/from all HHS clients in Queensland. The successful applicant will be responsible for development, review and management of transport schedules utilising an electronic manifest system to ensure schedules are met. The COVID-19 Supply Chain Surety Division (CSCSD) was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to manage the unprecedented demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critical medical supplies locally and internationally. The division amalgamated some existing teams and functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response for the duration of the pandemic, including Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, and Finance Transactional Services. This Division is also leading the implementation of the Queensland Government Critical Supply Reserve (QGCSR).
This division brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated Division led by the Deputy Director-General Corporate Services Division.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in the delivery and maintenance of high-quality transport services to clients.
- Proven leadership experience that can achieve goals of the work unit.
- Skills in the co-ordination of workflows processes and responsibility for quality of work output
- Experience in guiding and training of others
- Excellent communications skills that will support and build relationships within the team and clients using sound communication and interpersonal skills.

**Mandatory qualifications, licences and other requirements**:

- Chain of Responsibilty Awareness Training - not mandatory but highly desirable
- While not essential, logistics or management qualifications or experience in a related role or industry would be highly regarded
- It maybe a condition of employment for this role, for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 as per the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox),pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, tuberculosis.
