Due to growth, an opportunity now exists for a Transport Coordinator to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation, coordination and follow-up of cartage through customs clearance.

Responsibilities will include:

- Facilitate cartage requirements following customs clearance for Air, LCL, FCL and Rail shipments
- Preparation of documentation, reporting and quotations to customers, including liaison with internal and external providers to provide job costings
- Carry out AQIS/ACS formalities ensuring legal compliance
- Organising payment for shipping lines and forwarders’ charges to obtain the relevant delivery orders along with processing of any ACS/AQIS clearance matters
- Regular liaison with transport companies, carriers, customers and internal departments and maintenance of customers’ status/delivery reports
- Confirming completion of delivery requirements, POD collection, container dehire and monitoring detention.

To be successful you will be a self-motivated team player, display high attention to detail and positive attitude with the ability to multi task. Effective communication and relationship management skills and customer centric. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within an international freight forwarding/customs environment in a similar role essential along with Cargowise experience.
