**Planning**
**Assistant **to work as part of our Planning Department. Reporting directly to the Merchandise Planning Manager, this role is responsible for the management of allocations and distribution systems and sales analysis as required.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Raising purchase orders
- Processing markdowns and re-prices
- Reporting, publishing and analysing daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal sales
- Buy Plan management and auditing
- Allocations across a wide network of retail stores when required
- Assisting planning team with stock management through allocations, consolidations, replenishment setup and maintenance
- Perform store & warehouse visits
- Assisting Planner with ad hoc reporting, analysis and data entry

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:

- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in fashion, business, economics or finance is preferred
- Previous experience in stock allocation or A keen interest in a career in retail planning or buying
- Proficient computer literacy skills including competency with Microsoft Office programs
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail & accurate data entry skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Analytical & numerical thinking
