**Your new company**

You will be working for an international renewable energy developer who are backed by one of the largest investment firms in this space. They have a massive budget to spend, and the Australian market is their priority right now. This company focuses across all renewable technologies from solar, on and offshore wind, BESS, hydrogen, pumped hydro and more Based in the Melbourne CBD they are a rapidly expanding team who are looking to take over the Australian market.

**Your new role**

The primary responsibility of the Grid Connection Manager is to lead the commercial and technical aspects of the grid connections process for large renewable assets including contract tender, negotiation processes, EPC, S&I, BOP and O&M. You will be assisting the project managers and developers in developing grid connections schedules and budgets from inception through to R2 stage. The role will be based in Melbourne CBD working alongside some of the brightest minds in the country who share a common goal of creating a more sustainable future for energy in Australia.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- +5 year’s relevant work experience
- Specific experience in renewable project development or T&D.
- Demonstrated experience with HV, MV and LV electrical systems
- Experience undertaking grid connection studies from pre-FIA to R2, using PSCAD and PSSE.
- Negotiation of connection agreements and EPC, S&I, BOP and O&M contracts
- Qualifications in Project Management
