Our client is one of the Nation’s Leaders in Renewable Energy Development with multiple decades of combined experience in project development; from securing sites and grid connections to EPC and operations and maintenance. You will be an integral part in the Project Development Team as they bring solar farms and battery energy storage systems to life

**About The Role**:
In this role you will be responsible for:

- Manage contracts to optimise project outcomes and maintain high standards.
- Coordinate the project activities between consultant, NSP and AEMO
- Assist with the delivery of generator connection packages
- Lead the discussion between NSPs/AEMO/Consultants/OEMs in GPS development, issue resolving and project milestones.
- Manage time, budget and resources to ensure projects to be delivered in set milestones.
- Assist to negotiate with NSPs/AEMO on Connection Agreements, PCRs and PFRs and Commercial Offers.
- Provide strategic technical advice for new connections.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Tertiary level degree in electrical engineering or other relevant engineering fields.
- 3 years plus experience in Renewable Energy or New Energy Utilises Services
- Demonstrated experiences with Renewable Projects and proven track record in obtaining generation connection approvals within NEM HV and EHV networks.
- Familiarity on NER, GPS requirements, NEM policies and rule changes.
- Great project management skill and team player to coordinate the project activities between consultants, NSPs, OEMs and AEMO.
- Experience successfully delivering R0 or R1 packages for a generator connected to the National Electricity Market.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence challenging outcomes.
