Our client, in the public sector is seeking an experienced **Manager, Injury & Wellness**to join their team based in inner fringe of Melbourne CBD.

**Role Purpose**:
As the Manager, Injury & Wellness, you will oversee the WorkCover Self-Insurance licence, manage early intervention programs, and support the return-to-work processes for both work and non-work-related injuries. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of injury management, fostering a healthy workplace, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Self-Insurance Management**: Lead the management of the Self-Insurance licence, ensuring compliance with audits, returns, and reporting requirements.
- **Injury & Claims Management**: Oversee case management for work and non-work-related injuries, including WorkCover claims and return-to-work programs.
- **Rehabilitation & Intervention**: Drive quality outcomes through early intervention strategies and rehabilitation, proactively planning and executing solutions.
- **Data Accuracy**: Ensure the accurate recording and reporting of all injury management and claims data.
- **Stakeholder Liaison**: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including workers, HR, safety teams, and legal advisors.
- **Health & Wellness Strategy**: Support the management of health, medical, and wellness programs to promote a healthy workplace.
- **Legislative Updates**: Stay informed of changes to legislation and their impact on processes and operations.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience with WorkCover and Self-Insurance Schemes.
- Strong background in Return-to-Work programs and related industrial issues.
- Proven ability to manage relationships at all levels within an organisation.
- Full driver's licence.
