**About the Role**
The Digital and Content Coordinator will play a key role in planning, creating, managing, and maintaining our learning resources. You'll collaborate closely with academic staff, researchers, and other stakeholders in a dynamic start-up environment. Your work will involve developing program materials, guidance resources, digital assets, web content, and communication materials.

In this role, you'll also be responsible for creating and managing Canvas LMS shells, maintaining and enhancing digital channels, contributing to webpage design, promotional activities and other digital content initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design and creation of digital supports that engage learners in signature programs
- Production of staff-facing resources for other University providers of researcher development opportunities, including guidance documents, templates and other digital assets as required
- Maintain a visual direction and brand for the RDU that is consistent, recognisable and appropriate within The University of Melbourne brand guidelines.

**Who we are looking for**
We’re looking for an experienced Content Coordinator with exceptional writing and editing skills. You should excel at time management, prioritising multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to work autonomously, are essential for this role.

You will also have:

- Experience using Canvas LMS
- 2 years of experience in digital media, communications, content creation, and/or visual design
- Demonstrated ability to maintain administrative systems, particularly workflow management and task tracking documentation

The Researcher Development Unit (RDU) is a strategic initiative within Chancellery (Research and Enterprise) (CRE) and was established to provide, coordinate and evaluate professional development for researchers at the University. The RDU supports researchers at all career stages, with a particular focus on graduate researchers, early-career researchers and mid-career researchers. The RDU works collaboratively with other researcher development providers as part of the ecosystem of research support at the University: these providers include faculties and schools, the Centre for the Study of Higher Education, Research Innovation and Commercialisation, and Student and Scholarly Services.
