As an Associate Professor/Professor of Digital Education, you will spearhead pioneering research on digital transformation's impact on education. You will have the opportunity to enhance digital literacy, foster equity, and drive innovative teaching strategies. Your role will involve leading research teams, securing funding, and contributing to international debates, positioning you as a thought leader in digital education.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Innovative Teaching: Drive excellence in digital education across teaching programs, including Masters and Doctoral levels.
  • Advance Research Excellence: Initiate and lead cutting-edge research programs, securing funding and publishing in high-impact journals.
  • Foster Strategic Engagement: Build and maintain networks with universities, industry, and community partners to enhance research impact.
  • Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and support academic staff and students, in digital education initiatives and contribute to advancing the national and international profile of the University in the field.

You are an esteemed academic leader within your field with a strong international research profile in digital education, adept at driving innovation and fostering collaborative networks to advance educational excellence.

You must also:

  • Attain a PhD or doctoral degree germane to digital education.
  • Have an established international research profile, with significant record of publications and ability to initiate and lead new programs of digital education research.
  • Have cutting -edge expertise in AI, learning analytics, or immersive technologies (VR/AR).
  • Demonstrate success in securing competitive research funding and in attracting external funding.
  • Proven success in teaching at the University level, including the ability to contribute to the leadership, design and coordination of innovative and distinctive programs.
  • Expertise in leading national and international trends and public policy environments related to digital education.
  • Advance excellence in graduate supervision and mentoring students.
  • Exhibit strong leadership abilities with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
