Reporting to the **Administration **Manager, South Queensland **This role has the dual purpose of delivering day to day administration support duties to the **People Team **, as well as leading the **Brisbane **Business Support Coordinator **team. Our goal is to achieve the vision of being recognised as the highest performing Support team in Australia. The Team Leader role will assist in the hiring, training, and management of South Queensland administrative team members; develop, review, and improve policies, systems, and procedures; and generally ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently. This position will also see you involved in the following:
- Administration duties associated with the People Team including the onboarding of all SQ Region staff, support the logistics associated with Learning and Development training for the region, other administration duties as required by the SQ Region People Manager.
- Provide coordination of the administrative function across the Brisbane office, including managing the resourcing commitments of the support coordinator team, allocation of requests received through the central inbox, ensuring their skills and capabilities are at acceptable levels and a high level of Business Group client service is being delivered.
- Oversight of reception duties / staffing, including appropriate relief and leave coverage, and ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficient service is delivered to all internal and external clients.
- Provide onboarding, coaching, training and mentoring to SCs and reception staff.
- Implementation of continuous improvement principles to ensure the continued relevance and fit for purpose practices and procedures within the group.
- Business Group - Supporting an exceptional client experience (external and internal) by partnering with the Business
- Teamwork - cultivating a culture of high performance and collaboration between the SCs and Reception.
- Assist the EA to RGM with the planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions that are predominantly Brisbane based.
- Leading and coordination of Support Coordinator meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting coordination and minute taking (where required).
**To be successful for this role, you will have**:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Business Administration for a large global company.
- Experience in Team Leadership and providing leadership support to the Manager.
- Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities both internally and through job shadowing, coaching and other learning resources.
