**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 3-month contract paying up to $87/per hour + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD/ WFH

**About the team**

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Financial Modeler with a leading NSW Government agency. The role is responsible for the financial modelling and analysis to support the business cases and budget bids for the division.

Key accountabilities include:

- Collaborating with policy and business SMEs to deeply understand policy objectives
and assumptions, and translating business requirements into a financial forecast
with multiple option scenarios.
- Working with partners to ensure financial models are accurate, feasible and
intrinsically linked with cost‐benefit analysis
- Supporting an uplift of financial knowledge and capability within the existing team by
sharing knowledge of ERC, internal budget bid and other strategic financial
processes.

**About You**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics or in a related discipline
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models, with Advanced
Excel capability, to support decision‐making
- Proven experience with SAP or other finance systems.
