**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our team based in our Adelaide office. The Business Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the business operational team functions to deliver timely, accurate and responsive client outcomes.
Working closely with the Managing Director, the role will provide highly specialised integrated business management, strategic direction, advice, and recommendations to support specific program services through the direct oversight and management of the financial business model, management of budget performance, and management of financial, physical and establishment resources.

**You will**:
- Lead and manage the business operations team including people management, financials, governance, projects, information technology relating to the business unit.
- Communication functions embedding and promoting a high performance and collaborative culture to deliver timely, accurate and responsible client outcomes.
- Drive the development, implementation, and review process within business operations to ensure procedures align to corporate goals, comply with legislation and policies, strengthen corporate capability, and facilitate corporate planning and performance monitoring.
- Produce high quality documentation including briefing notes, process documentation, stakeholder briefing packs, presentations to assist with the implementation of projects and support for other operational activities.
- Monitor and report on the operational budget spend ensuring compliance with relevant policies, delegations, and requirements to support the executive decision making and ensure effectiveness at the local.
- Identify, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative strategies to enable continuous improvement within business operations and support the team’s ability to achieve and exceed service outcomes and performance indicators.
- Build and maintain a high level of awareness of current and developing operational and organizational issues and their implication for ITEC Group and provide prompt expert advice to the Managing Director on issues/risks, sensitive or strategically important issues to facilitate decision making and risk mitigation across the organization.
- Engage with various stakeholders and foster key working relationships to provide support to the implementation of large-scale projects and contribute to business outcomes.

- Facilitating the engagement and input of a wide range of stakeholders and clients under pressure situations and within agreed timelines given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests.
- Balancing competing demands of work to ensure outcomes are achieved to the required standards where inputs and information from multiple internal and external sources are required to complete activities.
- Maintain awareness of relevant issues, policy obligations, insights, challenges, industry trends, practices, and opportunities to identify, pursue, elevate, recommend, and deliver innovative solutions that optimize outcomes and contribute best practice in line with organizational and government priorities.
You have
- Extensive experience in a business development role, key account management or client relationship management.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with cultural and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
- Highly specialized strategic, conceptual, analytical, and creative skills including a high-;level understanding of the political, social, and organizational environment, to identify relevant issues and make high level determinations regarding business strategy and directions.
- Ability to perform with a high level of time management and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience in effective people leadership and development and development and change management
- Current knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and practices governing the operation of separate agencies including risk management, audit, financial oversight, records management, corporate governance, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications or near completion of a Business/Management qualification
- Proven experience with business development planning and tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a strong sense of self awareness.
- Impeccable integrity, trust, respect, stewardship, strong cultural awareness, and commitment to people in disadvantaged circumstances.
