Melbourne, Australia Melbourne & Olympic Parks Full time

**About the role**

We’re excited to be recruiting for this newly created position within Melbourne and Olympic Parks. Our Organisational Capability team are growing within the People and Culture function and we’re looking forward to welcoming a Training Coordinator to the team reporting directly into our fantastic Organisational Capability Manager.

This is an interesting role designed to not only help lift and maintain compliance internally but ultimately build staff capability and improve the overall user experience for the M&OP Learning Management System (LMS), currently Litmos. We’re looking for someone who really knows their stuff when it comes to the daily management and operations of training and may be in the market for a new opportunity to flex their expertise for an iconic precinct and organisation Read on for all the details

**Here are some of the game-changing things you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in**:

- Manage and continuously improve the organisation-wide training matrix; including our onboarding and offboarding processes
- Regularly review and improve online content to provide a meaningful user experience
- Educate and support employees and team members on use of the LMS
- Manage the relationship with our third-party provider to always ensure LMS security and integrity
- Administer workforce training and compliance including for the AO (Australian Open)
- Training all staff and stakeholders on new learning systems and technology as it’s implemented at M&OP
- Supporting the OC team activity through general administration including training registrations, communications support, administration of capability assessment tools, management of evaluation data, room bookings, preparation of training materials and coordination
- Maintaining accurate training and compliance data, ensuring records are comprehensive and up to date, including storage of compliance-related certificates, accreditations, and licenses
- Providing accurate and timely data to support reporting and evaluation
- Sharing, maintaining and updating Organisational Capability intranet content
- Acting as the first point of contact for all AO training and employees at M&OP

**In addition to the general tasks, responsibilities and skills above, if you were part of our team in the past 3 weeks, you would also have been involved in the following (did we mention we like to have fun at work?)**:
The Precinct Games - a collection of teams made up of employees across Melbourne’s iconic venues to come together for fun and competition utilising our amazing venues, courts and fields - organised and run by our very own OC team member (spectators and players combined)

The Australian Open kick off - our teams are busy bumping in for this amazing event and our OC team are getting ready to manage training and compliance for our superstar casual workforce and all involved, there’s a real buzz in the air

Customer Experience Workshops - we came together in diverse groups at John Cain Arena’s conference space to talk about what’s important to us, our guests, and the precinct so we can plan for even better guest and employee experiences in the future - including the training we provide

Strategy Breakfast Sessions - cross-skilled teams gathered in our Centrepiece venue’s beautiful studios to hear from our Strategy and People teams on the multiple exciting things we have planned as a precinct and workforce over the next few years and to offer up our own personal ideas and thoughts on what’s possible

Team Lunches and Dinners - together with our Workforce Planning team and People and Culture peers, we’ve hit the pause button so we can acknowledge and celebrate birthdays, new team members, exiting colleagues and some big wins at work (yay)

**What you will bring to the role**:
**Along with your positive attitude and a passion for all things people and training, here are a few things we’re looking for in our applicants;**
- A few solid years professional experience in a similar role, with excellent knowledge of Learning Management Systems, preferably LITMOS
- Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to communicate needs to a diverse audience
- Excellent administration skills with a focus on systems and processes and great attention to detail
- A natural ability to build great relationships internally and externally; including 3rd party providers
- Influencing and negotiating skills to be able to allocate, track and finalise training and compliance for the right people at the right time
- Some familiarity with a casual workforce would be great, but not mandatory - we employ around 1000 people to make the magic happen at M&OP with varying training and compliance needs
- Comfort and confidence in working with a small team to deliver successful outcomes
- Master communication skills, verbal, written and online or in person - you love to connect and keep others informed with all the right details
