**Your role**

At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

As a Major Pursuits Lead in our Business Development team you will:

- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market business development strategies that generate new revenue streams for the firm.
- Provide coaching and guidance to partners, lawyers and corporate services teams through all aspects of pursuit execution.
- Develop best practice value propositions and messaging for key identified tender opportunities.
- Work with lead BD to prepare teams for significant pitch presentations to clients.
- Drive best practice with key stakeholders on pursuit methodology.
- Develop systems and processes for best practice engagement on pursuits.
- Own the tracking of pursuit activity and outcomes.

**About you**

You will have:

- Previous experience working in business development or pursuit related roles within a professional services firm or other corporate organisation with complex stakeholder management.
- Ability to build teams, influence and coach others and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to balance the needs of a variety of stakeholders to achieve firm-wide strategy and priorities.
- Ability to use initiative, problem solve and to make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain control, show determination, persistence, and resilience.
- Well-developed research and organisational skills.
- Well-developed presentation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
