**MARKETING ASSISTANT**
Part-time, permanent: 22.5 hours per week (can be worked 3 full days or split across 4 or 5 days per week)

**Purpose of the role**

They will be highly organised, eager to learn and motivated to succeed, with strong focus and attention to detail. They will also possess the strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with key stakeholders.

**Primary responsibilities will include**:

- Copywriting of marketing materials and EDMS
- Drafting, building and sending EDMs using Campaign Monitor
- Drafting and circulating media releases in accordance with campaign requirements
- Preparing campaign design briefs as required, ensuring all information is documented in project management tools and the full team is properly informed at regular campaign briefings
- Ensuring internal stakeholders are appropriately briefed on marketing activities
- Creating reports from campaign analytics to deliver performance insights and post-campaign results in a timely and effective manner
- Key metrics reporting across all Schwartz Media products

**Personal qualities and skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications
- An interest in Australian current affairs and culture, and familiarity with Schwartz Media titles
- Strong communication skills, and an ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, to be proactive, and to coordinate and prioritise competing requests
- Highly organised, focused and with strong attention to detail
- Ability to write compelling marketing copy
- IT skills, particularly Google tools including Docs, Sheets and Slides
- Experience using Campaign Monitor or a similar platform would be advantageous, but not mandatory and support will be provided
- Some awareness of CRM platforms, digital metrics and/or reporting would be advantageous but not mandatory

This is a part-time position to begin in September 2025, based in our Collingwood offices and with the option of some remote work.
