In this newly created role, you’ll be responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns, developing and reviewing copy and web content, and overseeing IonOpticks’ digital and visual representation. In addition to coordinating promotional activities and events, your strong creative execution skills will enable you to produce high-quality visual assets, graphics, and design materials that elevate IonOpticks’ brand across digital and print channels.
Reporting directly to the Chief Brand Officer you’ll work closely with the Brand team on company-wide initiatives to deliver consistent branding, compelling storytelling (through both words and visuals), and measurable impact across all channels. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic thinking with creative execution, perfect for someone who thrives on bringing ideas to life through words, visuals, and design.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and implement integrated marketing, communications, and creative strategies and campaigns, aligned with priorities.
- Design and deliver high-quality creative assets - including graphics, digital collateral, and event materials - for campaigns, conferences, and company initiatives.
- Support media and PR activities to strengthen brand presence.
- Manage and moderate key digital channels (website, Google Ads, social media), and report on performance and engagement.
- Collaborate on the design of promotional materials and visual content
- Lead creative concepts for booth design, space activation, promotional activities, and materials for exhibition at annual conferences.
- Create customer personas and produce editorial and SME-contributed content
- Monitor and report on reputation risks and mitigation strategies
- Act as a key contact for marketing and communications enquiries, building strong internal and external relationships for successful delivery of campaigns and creative outputs
- Provide general and administrative support to the Chief Brand Officer, with a focus on creative execution and brand consistency across all channels.
**Key selection criteria**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in graphic design, communications, marketing, and/or public relations.
- A minimum 2 years’ experience working in a creative and/or marketing role.
- Experience or competence in copywriting (short and long form content) and editing written materials.
- Experience in visual design, space activation and/or corporate conference event design.
- Previous experience in working in a marketing and communications team with key stakeholder management.
- Ability to provide high-quality administrative support and assistance to team members.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, WordPress CMS and direct mail platforms.
- Proactive approach to driving innovation in marketing strategies.
- Passion for elevating human health outcomes through the progression of scientific technology and research.
- Photography skills using Digital SLR equipment and experience in video editing and/or basic scientific literacy or experience reading scientific publications would be desirable.
