Merri-bek City Council is a progressive council of 175,000 residents: one community, proudly diverse. Utilising your depth of knowledge and experience in transport, you will enhance safety and mobility within the municipality with strategies, plans, infrastructure and advocacy programs that help Council towards the 2031 Community Vision for Moving and living safely in Merri-bek.

To succeed in delivering on a strategic transport agenda, your strong community and stakeholder engagement and capital project delivery skills will allow you to understand the community’s transport needs and both advocate for them and provide local infrastructure improvements that address them. With an appreciation and understanding of the broader political landscape, you will quickly build deep and trusted relationships with a broad range of networks and complex key stakeholders utilising your strong communication and engagement skills.
