The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven an experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual to be leading face of our Signature Bar, The Bar will be an intimate and luxurious destination that showcase exceptional spirits, rare vintages, and the art of mixology. The Head Bartender will have the opportunities to be creative, take a spin on classic cocktails and create bespoke cocktails that will touch the 5 senses of the guest to elevate their experience.

You will be required to have extensive knowledge of cocktail, spirits, wine, and beer and keep up to dates with ever changing bar trends. Ensures that bar runs efficiently, and that guest are consistently satisfied and impressed by the high quality of drinks served. To create a fun and engaging environment for the team to grow in terms of their beverage knowledge and service standards. Assist the beverage manager in beverage stock take, managing bar inventory, wastage management and cost control.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 3+years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant/bar experience
- Strong organization & communication skills required for this role.
- Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.
