**JOB SUMMARY**

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven an experienced, dedicated, passionate and motivated individual to be the fun, interactive bartender. The Bar will be an intimate and luxurious destination that showcase exceptional spirits, rare vintages and the art of mixology. Supports the Head Bartender in cocktail and beverage production. Provide warmth, personalized and outstanding service to all guests and ability to recommend beverage based on the guest’s preferences.

Setting up of the bar (including bar preparation, maintaining inventory) and maintain cleanliness of the bar at all times. Familiar with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) regulations and strong ability to discern and communicate professionally with guest when refusing to provide service. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; 1+ years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1-years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant experience, especially using table management system (e.g., sevenrooms, open table)
- Strong organization & communication skills required for this role.
- Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.
